January 9, 2012 – Anita Joshi to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro
Hi my name is Anita Joshi. I have been working out at Pilates with John for the past 6yrs. I want to thank John Kimberly, Stacey and Risa for getting me to this point in my fitness.
I will be attempting to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania on Jan 21st. My climb is dedicated to my nephew Devan Joshi Shine, who was born too early on May 31 2011. He passed away 2 weeks later from complications of prematurity.
I am raising money for the March Of Dimes, which helps to fund research and prevent premature births all around the world.

What is Pilates?
Pilates is a safe and effective method of total body toning, utilizing the principals of core muscle strengthening and spinal elongation. In addition to toning and strengthening, benefits include improved posture, increased flexibility, and general wellness. The mat based group classes offer a challenging and enjoyable hour of cutting edge instruction with an emphasis on the abdominals, back, and buttocks. The machine based private instruction covers these areas with additional work on legs, arms, shoulders, and the back. Private lessons also include a cardio segment and stretching sequence done on the machine.
